This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite on Campus and remote.

Under supervision of the Principal Investigator, the incumbent will work as a Psychiatry Research Associate within the College Mental Health Program within the Department of Psychiatry. Primary responsibilities will be related to a mental health prevention screener research study being conducted with the International Students & Programs Office. Responsibilities include contacting participants, obtaining informed consent, serving as a liaison between study and participant physicians, collecting data, scheduling and conducting clinical interviews, preparing reports, reviewing articles, communicating with research office and health coaching will be a component of this position. Other research duties include prepare research forms, maintain research charts and study materials, coordinate with laboratories, and order supplies as needed. Regularly attend and contribute to research meetings. Assist with other duties will include administrative tasks as needed.
Theoretical knowledge in Psychiatry, psychology or related field.
Theoretical knowledge of transitional age youth psychosocial development.
Knowledge of and ability to explain initial symptoms of major mental health problems.
Good organizational skills and ability to follow structured psychosocial interventions.
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) needed to interact professionally and effectively in the work environment, including ability to conduct psychosocial interventions and assessment of research participants.
Demonstrated experience with the operation of a personal computer and software applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Good organizational skills to file and maintain participant tracking. Ability to organize and maintain assessment materials, both paper and electronic versions. Demonstrated skill in accurate record keeping and ability to organize data.
Ability to provide assessment of research participants and to provide psychosocial interventions.
Proven ability to effectively and accurately document research procedures. Proven ability to read, comprehend, and discuss research materials.
Demonstrated ability to maintain participant confidentiality.
Ability to assist with coordinating and implementing recruitment strategies of participants for research study and screen database to evaluate their eligibility for study participation.
Experience to coach 8 sessions of electronic cognitive behavior therapy program to dyad participants.
Experience to program fitbit tracker for use by research participants.
Ability to evaluate participant risks in conjunction with Principal Investigator.
Ability to use Epic Access.

Annual Full Pay Range: $55,374 - $66,064 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $26.52 - $31.64
